Baste Terms of Service
These proposed terms cover the Baste public website and browser Studio demo at baste.love. They explain the demo, local software, your content and the limits of AI design tools. Prepared for owner review on 2 October 2026; release reviewed on 7 October 2026. Published for review, not effective. Reading or trying this draft does not accept a new agreement.
01
Operator and scope
Baste is operated by Keith Abiola Noel, a sole proprietor in Québec, Canada. “Baste”, “we” and “us” refer to that operator. Baste is a product name; this draft makes no representation about business registration or incorporation. The shared business support contact is support@notorganic.info. [Before adoption: add the public business mailing address and confirm that this published mailbox reliably receives and handles Baste requests.]
These terms concern the operator’s public service. A downloaded copy of the software is governed by its applicable software licence. An independently run Baste server has its own operator and data practices. These terms do not replace another provider’s purchase or account agreement.
02
The current offering
The public website and browser demo are available without a Baste account or payment. Studio provides sample personas, previews, token exports, in-memory edits and simulated generation jobs. A demo job is a dry run, not newly generated imagery or video. Demo changes are temporary and can disappear on reload or when the page is closed. Export work you wish to keep.
Real generation, persistent server data and account-dependent features require a separately configured server and supported providers. Documentation and interface controls do not establish that a feature is enabled. The public deployment does not currently offer Baste-hosted sign-in, checkout or paid generation.
03
Your use and permissions
Use Baste lawfully and only with material and systems you are authorized to use. Do not submit private credentials, confidential client material or unnecessary personal information. Use fictional personas where possible. Obtain the required authority before supplying information or images about another person.
Do not exploit children, harass people, infringe rights, deceptively impersonate others, distribute malicious content, gain unauthorized access or interfere with the service. These terms do not restrict rights you hold under applicable software licences.
Baste is intended for people aged 14 and over. You must also meet any higher minimum required by applicable law or a connected provider. This product minimum does not make you an adult or establish capacity to enter every contract. If you are below the age of majority, involve your parent or tutor and obtain any authorization or representation required for the feature or agreement. A future account or purchase requires legal capacity or legally sufficient authorization. The current demo does not verify age or collect parental authorization.
04
Your material and output
You keep the rights you already have in your persona descriptions, reference materials and other inputs. Using the browser demo permits the processing and display needed for the actions you request in that browser. It does not transfer ownership to Baste or authorize unrelated model training.
An export is a way to copy a result, not a guarantee that every element is owned by you or cleared for every use. Sample assets, fonts, third-party materials and software retain their applicable licences. Review attribution, font licensing, trademark, copyright and image or personality rights before distributing work. Baste claims no additional ownership in your output under these proposed terms.
05
AI and design limitations
AI output and aesthetic scores can be inaccurate, biased, incomplete or similar to other people’s work. A quality or persona-alignment score is a design aid, not a certification of accessibility, originality, safety or legal clearance. Output may not qualify for copyright protection. Review and test SVG, code, tokens, images and video before production use.
Baste is not intended to make decisions about a person’s employment, credit, health, education or other significant interests. Do not treat a fictional design persona as a factual assessment of a real person. We do not promise exclusive output, commercial clearance or a particular design result.
06
Local software and outside services
Installing the CLI or connecting Studio to an API you choose can send requests to that server and, for configured generation, to its AI providers. The server operator controls stored files, provider accounts and access. Verify the destination and its notices before sending content. Keep provider keys on a trusted server.
Depending on the installed version, local software supports configured QuiverAI SVG generation, OpenAI or Google images, Google or Seedance video endpoints, and OpenAI, TypeSafe or Not Organic evaluation paths. Review the actual installed version and provider settings; availability is not guaranteed by a provider name. External fonts and user-added reference image URLs also cause browser requests, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
07
Charges and future offers
There is no charge for the current public browser demo. Running local software may incur charges under your separate provider or hosting agreements. A demo progress message, displayed model name or account control is not a purchase confirmation.
If Baste later offers paid service, a separate offer must identify the seller, currency, total price, taxes, included usage, charging method, any renewal, cancellation, refund and credit conditions before purchase. Nothing here creates a subscription, expiry rule, non-refundable credit rule or automatic renewal. Mandatory cancellation, refund and other consumer rights continue to apply.
08
Availability and ending use
You can stop using the demo at any time. Baste may interrupt or restrict public access to address misuse, technical problems or legal obligations. The demo is not a backup service and has no promised service-level agreement. Local files and exports do not disappear merely because you stop visiting the website.
A future paid service would need its own notice, data retrieval and remedy arrangements. These terms do not exclude mandatory warranties, excuse our legal obligations or impose a liability cap, indemnity, mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver.
09
Privacy and contact
The Baste Privacy Policy describes the current browser data paths and the separate local-server boundary. A privacy notice is not blanket consent to new purposes. Send Baste support, legal and privacy questions to support@notorganic.info, the shared published business contact. Identify Baste and describe the request without sending passwords, API keys or unnecessary personal information. Do not post private requests in a public issue tracker. Reliable mail delivery and request handling must be confirmed before adoption.
10
Language and changes
English and French review texts are provided. No language preference in the browser constitutes a waiver of French-language rights or acceptance of an English contract. Any applicable Québec requirement to provide the French agreement before an express choice of another language must be met in the actual contracting process.
An adopted version must identify its effective date. Material changes must be communicated and agreed to where required by law; editing this page alone does not authorize new processing or alter an existing paid agreement. The operator is based in Québec, Canada. Mandatory applicable law and available courts and remedies remain applicable; this draft does not impose an exclusive forum or remove consumer protections.
